The Closing Ceremony of “African Products Online Promoting Season” Held via Online

The “African Products Online Promoting Season” came to the end and its closing ceremony was co-organized by Jinhua Municipal People's Government and the Internet Society of China (ISC) via online on Nov 25.
To echo the event Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the “African Products Online Promoting Season” launched in September to conduct a series of e-commerce campaigns, for example the e-commerce livestreaming, to promote the sale of African products on the platforms of Hainan TV, Taobao.com of Alibaba, Tik Tok.
Since the launch of the Promoting Season, a total of 106 special online live broadcasts had been carried out, attracting more than 100 million Internet users to watch and interact, and the e-commerce live broadcast turnover exceeded 50 million yuan.
Mr. HE Guili, Vice President of ISC emphasized the important role of the digital economy in the China-Africa cooperation in the opening remark. "ISC will actively play the role of a bridge between Chinese and foreign Internet industry to build a platform for communication and industrial cooperation between the Chinese and African people, promote the integration and development of digital technology and the real economy, encourage innovation and advocate digital inclusiveness, and enable the digital economy development benefiting the people of both sides.
