China IGF Organizes AI Salon

Recently, China IGF organized a theme salon on artificial intelligence through "online + offline". The main speaker, Mr. Zhang Qin, former vice-chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, and academician of the International Academy of Nuclear Energy, was invited to make a special report.
Mr. Zhang Qin, under the title of "AI Governance Exploration", elaborated his insights on the development of deep neural networks and large language models, and proposed that the focus of AI governance should be on "building auditable, supervisory, traceable, and trustworthy AI technologies" as mentioned in the Global AI Governance Initiative, for example, from the direction of controlling training data compliance, controlling output result compliance, and establishing accountability for the use of AI websites or products, and so on.
In addition, Mr. Zhang Qin also explained and demonstrated the positive role of AI-based "Dynamic Uncertain Causality Graph" (DUCG) technology solutions in enhancing the accuracy of primary care doctors' diagnosis and optimizing clinical examination items, so as to let everyone have a more intuitive understanding of the empowerment of AI application and governance on practice.
Participants and Mr. Zhang Qin had interactive exchanges and discussions on AI "black box", causality, intellectual property rights, neural networks, data sharing and data training, and other topics.
China IGF is the National IGF got approval by the UN IGF’s National and Regional IGF initiatives (NRIs). It serves as a platform to promoting the discussions on issues of the Internet Governance arena for the Chinese community as well as facilitating the exchange and cooperation between the Chinese and international community, and sharing China's Internet governance best practice and experiences. Its secretariat work is undertaken by the Internet Governance Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (ISC).
