The 2024 (23rd) China Internet Conference was held in Beijing from 9 to 11 July. As one of the important events, the main forum of the 10th Internet Rule of Law Conference of China was held on 11 July, with the theme of "Rule of Law Change and Innovation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence".

The forum stressed the 30th anniversary of China's full-function access to the Internet and the 30th anniversary of the start of China's Internet rule of law.

The keynote speech session covered legislative thinking, copyright protection, rule of law safeguards for the digital economy, legislative paths for artificial intelligence, legal issues for training data, enterprise research, development and governance achievements, etc.

The seminar also had in-depth discussions from the perspective of enterprises, legislative needs and positioning, legal issues of computing power connectivity, legal practice of infrastructure empowerment network, and AI data governance practices in various countries.

The forum brought together governments, acdamics and business representatives in the fields of Internet legislation, justice and law enforcement to jointly discuss the theory and practice of network rule of law in the era of artificial intelligence reform.
