From July 9 to 11,2024, the 23rd China Internet Conference was held at the Beijing National Convention Center. During the Conference, the "Artificial Intelligence Large Model Forum" hosted by the Internet Society of China (ISC) was held on July 9, with the theme of "AI Leads the Future, the Transformative Impact of AI Large Model". 

Mr. Wang Zheng, Director of Science and Technology Development Division, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Mr. Huang Chengqing, Vice President of ISC, attended the event and delivered opening remarks. Representatives from research institutes and enterprises participated in the exchange seminar.

Mr. Wang Zheng emphasized the importance of the deep integration of AI technology and manufacturing industry, and proposed three pieces of advises: improving innovation ability, enriching application scenarios, and improving the support system. Mr. Huang Chengqing reviewed the 30 years of the development of the Internet, pointed out that artificial intelligence is an innovative technology attracting much attention, and put forward four suggestions, including consolidating infrastructure, promoting application innovation, leading science and technology to be good, and strengthening industry cooperation.

Professor Huang Tiejun of Peking University delivered a keynote report on the progress and outlook of the AI large model, predicting the development trend of the future large model in general intelligence and scientific language, and called for equal attention to AI safety.

Representatives of the research institutes and enterprises also shared on the large model in security service operation, digital intelligence strong enterprises, network transformation, multi-modal large model, large model security solutions, commercialization of autonomous driving technology, generative AI application practices and other aspects.

The roundtable dialogue session focused on the theme of "Standing at the Crossroads of the Internet and Artificial Intelligence Large Model Intersection", and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges.

The forum was hosted by Ms. Pei Wei, Deputy Secretary General of ISC.
