The first China Digital Human Conference was held in Beijing, with the theme of "Digital People Application and Future".Organized by the Internet Society of China (ISC), the conference released the China Digital Human Development Report (2024), to provide reference for the industry.

The report points out that The digital human is an intelligent entity created through digital intelligence technology,which is highly compatible with artificial intelligence, and the emergence of generative AI has promoted industrial innovation. Digital human applications have been widely implemented, forming three main categories: media humans, service humans, and industry humans, showcasing its value in various contexts.The digital human industry ecosystem in China is becoming increasingly rich, with a surge in the number of enterprises and enormous market potential.However, the continued development of the industry still faces challenges that require further solutions from the industry.

The ISC put forward five initiatives in the report, calling for enhanced cooperation to promote digital human technology innovation and application, and to facilitate the development of digital economy.
