The "Artificial Intelligence + Digital Human Development Forum” of the 2024 China Digital Human Conference was held in Beijing, hosted by the Internet Society of China (ISC), gathering industry leaderships, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs to discuss the integration and innovation of artificial intelligence and digital human.

Mr. Lu Wei, Vice President of the ISC, emphasized that the combination of artificial intelligence and digital Human drives to a new direction for the development of the industry, and that it is necessary to adhere to independent innovation, overcome technological difficulties, promote the implementation of application, and focus on security and governance. 

Prof. Huang Tiejun, Chairman of Beijing Zhiyuan Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, suggested that innovation and application of big models are the core, and that it is necessary to promote the infrastructure of big models, accelerate the development of industry models, and improve the quality of industry data.

Mr. Wei Kai, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, shared the current situation and industry challenges of the integration of artificial intelligence and digital human technology, emphasizing the strengthening of standardization work and platform supervision.

Huawei, Alibaba, China Telecom, H3C and other enterprises respectively introduced the latest progress and application cases in digital human technology, showing the realistic and intelligent performance of digital human in emotional expression, intelligent question and answer, multi-modal interaction and other aspects.

The forum also held in-depth discussions on the technical challenges, application prospects and development trends of digital humans, including how to improve their natural language understanding, multi-modal interaction capabilities, and how to realize a more natural and intelligent interaction experience.
