Jointly organized by the Internet Society of China (ISC) and the Information Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Top 100 China Internet Enterprises List Release & Top 100 Enterprises Forum was held in Beijing on August 14, 2019. 

Mr. Zhang Feng, Chief Engineer of the MIIT, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He pointed out that as a powerful engine for a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, the Internet is the key force and important support for promoting the development of the digital economy. It is of great significance to cultivate more Internet companies with innovative and leading capabilities and build a strong modern Internet industry system to adapt to the new normal, create new energy, and seize the new high-tech revolution and industrial transformation. He also proposed three points on future’s Internet development in China. First, scientific understanding of the Internet is a key carrier for nurturing the digital economy. Second, we should fully affirm the achievements of the innovation and development of the modern Internet industry. The third is to accelerate the construction of a strong modern Internet industry system.

The forum released the lists of Top 100 Internet Enterprises, the Top 20 Internet Growing Enterprises in 2019, and the "Development Reports of Chinese Top 100 Internet Enterprises in 2019". Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu, JD Group, Zhejiang Ant Financial, NetEase Group, Meituan, Beijing Bytedance Technology, 360 and Sina Company ranked in the Top 10.

Mr. He Guili, Deputy Secretary-general of ISC, unveiled the Top 100 list, and Mr. Song Maoen, Deputy Secretary-general of ISC, serviced as the moderator.

Nearly 300 participants, including representatives from relevant departments and bureaus of the MIIT, Internet companies, and the mass media, attended the meeting.
