On October 16, the Chinese Domain Names Initiative (CDNI) of the Internet Society of China (ISC) organized an online training courses for UA. The training was delivered by Ms.Pei Wei, the Deputy Secretary-General of ISC and the Head of CDNI. Mr.Walter Wu, Vice Chairman of the CDNI, made the traning course. Mr.Zhong Rui, Executive Deputy Director of the CDNI took the chair.

During the training, Mr. Walter Wu introduced the background of domain names and the history of Chinese domain names, the importance of developing IDN universal application, and explained the application and use of Chinese domain names from the perspective of identification and marketing functions. He also said that Chinese domain names are of great significance to the development of country's Internet, and the promotion of Chinese domain names is of great significance to promoting cultural confidence, facilitating users to access the Internet.

Representatives and experts from more than 40 members of ISC and End users and public organizations, Registries and Registrars, Email service providers, Web Administrators and Engineers,Search engines etc. participated in the training.
