ISC Set Up the Industrial Internet Working Committee

The Industrial Internet Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (ISC) was set up on Oct 29 in Beijing, with a group of founding members who had long been engaging into the industrial Internet related business, such as the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), YonYou, CSSC Industrial Internet Co.,Ltd, Bluetron, Kingdee, DAS-Security, Luculent, Neusoft, ZTE, H3C, China Unicom etc.
"The Internet is rapidly extending from the field of life to the direction of production, and the consumption Internet is expanding to the industrial Internet, which will accelerate the digital transformation of traditional industries and create a broader space for the development of the Internet.", said in the founding ceremony remark by Mr. WANG Peng, Deputy Director General of Information and Telecommunication Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
"The Committee will vigorously promote the Internet companies in-depth development direction to the industrial field, especially in the areas and of 5G enhanced technology, edge computing, industrial intelligence, industrial big data, industrial software, etc., step up exploration and active application, and implement digital industrialization. At the same time, it will work to strengthen multi-party cooperation, deeply explore typical application models and commercial value, and actively improve the ecological construction of the industrial Internet.", said by the newly elected Director of the Committee, Mr. HU Jianbo, also the Vice President of CAICT.
